Is the Operator competent?Members of UKPCO will have the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health, Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control, as a minimum qualification.

Members of UKPCO will make all commercial efforts to visit you within 36 hours of the initial contact.
UKPCO members will give free estimates and advice.
Often, the large PLC companies will be busy with their contract work; it may be days before anyone is available to undertake your survey. The Pest surveyor that comes will not necessarily be the operator that undertakes the treatment; you may have to wait even longer. UKPCO members will be from your locality, offer a prompt friendly service and offer you a competitive price.
UK Pest Controllers Org. Will at all times remain independent of any companies or bodies that may influence the membership.
The use of the best products available for the job in hand will always be promoted by UKPCO.
The choice of control products or methods will be made by the individual member allowing for the full spectrum of products to be used. However, UKPCO members will make every effort to protect the environment when using pesticides and will supply full documentation.
Pest Control Contract Services from UK Pest Controllers Organisation membersMembers will:-
+ Be able to provide you with references or endorsements if required.
+ Have third party liability with a minimum of £1,000,000 of cover.
+ Complete the agreed amount of service visits.
+ Give advice on proofing of properties and house keeping methods to reduce the risk of pest infestation.
+ Offer an acceptable amount free call out service subject to advice given being acted on.
+ Use only pesticides that are approved for the purpose.
+ Offer proactive and reactive pest control and monitoring.
